When you close you pool for the winter, one of the most important things you can do is to make sure that you clean your filter grids.
You will need to open the pool filter tank, by loosening the belly band,
Inside of the filter you will see the filter grids.
Once you see the filter grids you will want to make sure that you wash them well with a garden hose.
